|"GRACEVINE" Newsletter - December 2002 |
Christmas greetings to our Leaders, Pioneer Missionaries, Workers, Supporters, Friends and EHC Family around the world!
From behalf of myself, Adriana, and the Regional Office team we wish to extend our best wishes to you, your team and family this festive season. Consider for a moment - of all the ways in which God reveals Himself to us (in nature and in the Word), the revelation of God in the flesh is the most wonderful! This is the source of our Christmas joy : Christ became man! Let us too, as did the wise men, offer the King of Kings our gifts this Christmas time - the gold of our love; the incense of our prayers; and the myrrh of our offerings.
In Christ's birth, God has demonstrated that He is the God of the miraculous, and indeed He has done miraculous deeds within our EHC Anglo Africa Region throughout 2002! No person, power or authority could prevent the Father from sending His Son into the world - no obstacle stood in the way of the Redeemer! And no obstacle can prevent God from working in our lives and ministry as well. Our God is a miracle Worker, and His power is sufficient for our needs to fulfill the task of reaching every home in Africa! God never changes His mind about the people He calls and the things He gives them - "For God's gifts and His call can never be withdrawn; He will never go back on His promises (Romans 11:29).
Please take note:- The Anglo Africa Regional Office will close on Friday the 13 December 2002, and we will return on 6 January, 2003!

Feedback - Conference 25-29 November 2002:
Our conference was most successful! The leaders who participated (Southern Africa & East Africa) returned to their nations empowered, encouraged and enthused to complete the task of mobilizing local churches in reaching every home. Together as a team, we are expecting to make an 'explosive' impact into Anglo Africa. Ultimately, God will turn our continent ablaze with "love and light" through our combined strengths and activities. God's vision for the local church is that it would be dynamic, active, and a force to be reckoned with (Acts 1:8). And we are trusting that in 2003 these are the kind of churches that EHC would train, equip and mobilize, enabling every home's inhabitants to have the opportunity of hearing the Gospel!
To end our last Newsletter for 2002, we pray that wherever you find yourself this festive season, continue to make time each day to honor the REASON for the SEASON! For those of you who are going to be on the roads, take every precaution for your safety. Have a joyous and blessed time with family and friends. Let's profess our love anew this Christmas: to God, to our parents, to our marriage partner, and to our fellow man! Let's fill the world with the message of His eternal love.
